Tanvir Syed, MD – Medical Director

Tanvir Syed obtained his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University. He completed his residency training in neurology and fellowship in EEG and epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic. He then worked for 13 years at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center with an academic appointment at Case Western Reserve University. He has published over 30 academic peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters in his specialty. In 2019, he transitioned to telemedicine with practice privileges in more than 20 states at over 100 hospitals.

Dr. Syed is fluent in four languages, has a passion for cooking and traveling, is a former kickboxer, and currently loves MMA.

Idan Zarbailov – Physician Assistant

Idan Zarbailov grew up in the city of Mayfield Heights and graduated from Mayfield High School in 2014. He then continued his education at Cleveland State University to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in 2017.

He always knew that he was meant to help others through medicine, so becoming a medical provider became his top priority. He then graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with his Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant in 2020.

Orthopedics was always his field of interest, as he wanted to master the musculoskeletal system so he could help ensure his patients got back on their feet and enjoyed their everyday life and activities.

Having worked in several different settings, including an outpatient pain management clinic, an Orthopedic floor at a hospital, and an outpatient orthopedic surgery center, he has seen many of the ins and outs of the field and is ready to give the best quality care to all our patients here at Xcell Injury Care.

Dr. Ross Lubrani, Chiropractic Physician & Owner, Xcell Injury Care

Dr. Ross Lubrani is a 1997 graduate of Ohio University with a pre-med-based B.S. degree in Biology. He graduated Cum Laude with an emphasis in physiology and anatomy. In June of 2001, he obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University.

During the course of study at Life University, Dr. Lubrani applied special interest in both extremity and pediatric adjusting techniques. He has post-graduate certification in many different techniques, including physical therapeutics. The highlight of his schooling was being selected to participate in the “Mission of Lights” trip to Brazil that seeks to educate and provide care to the Brazilian population. Upon graduation, Dr. Lubrani practiced in Georgia and California before returning to his home state of Ohio.

He currently holds a license in three states and is also certified in physical therapeutics and continues to pursue his post-graduate studies, having recently obtained the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician Certification from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.

Dr. Lubrani, the founder of Xcell Injury Care, states that “Our purpose is to provide the highest quality of healthcare to our patients through the use of physical medicine techniques, therapeutic massage, chiropractic manipulation, passive and active therapies, injury prevention, and the education necessary to regain health and wellness.”

Dr. Nicholas Fabian, MS, DC – Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Nicholas Fabian’s interest in chiropractic care was sparked by years of physical abuse through sports, and he consequently suffered from many musculoskeletal aches and pains that come with being physically active.

After his first chiropractic adjustment at the age of 26, Dr. Fabian knew what his calling in life was.

Upon completion of high school, Dr. Fabian attended Mount Union College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. Dr. Fabian then went on to receive a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville. Dr. Fabian taught as an assistant professor for five years at the University of Louisville before receiving his first adjustment. Dr. Fabian enrolled at Sherman College of Chiropractic the next year.

During his course of study at Sherman College, Dr. Fabian was especially interested in both rehabilitation and a multitude of different adjusting techniques, including diversified, Pierce, activator methods, drop work, and flexion distraction.

Dr. Fabian has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the area’s most prominent neurologists, physician’s assistants, and physical therapists. He is very proactive in treating his patients and is excited to teach patients the importance of functional movement, proper nutrition, and how to increase the quality of life and strive for optimal health.
